Hello. Nothing new on the site. Tornado outbreak has continued in USA. Damages and casualties are still far from the outbreak in the year 2011. The weather near North Pole is continuing with the zic-zac system. Although the average temperatures are almost unchanged, the variance between highest and lowest temperatures is bigger than it was.

As you can see from the above, Finns, Swedes, midgets and other NBD's are working hard in order to trade the one trillion additional positive boost into a huge natural disasters. In the public one trillion positive boost to the economies is a thing they were dying to get, but unable to make.

The strongest Sunday-tornado - Arkansas, United States - cleared 240 square miles and killed 17 people. On the other hand, you need many bombs, before you get anywhere near the tornado levels.

Hello. 

We have many listeners and players.  Howard is not necessarily Boys greatest fan. If you do not remember why, you can refresh your memory with shift code 603.

The triangle flag - you see in updated card - is very typical for Rembrandt. There is flag and carrier also in Night Watch. Besides flags, lights are typical for Rembrandt's paintings. In Night Watch for example the key characters are lifted from the mass with lights and brighter colors.

Rembrandt's modern "official" bio is rather amazing. Looks like it was written by a midget, who does not give damn about anything else but himself and his pitiful nazi-propaganda businesses. 

Nowadays Rembrandt went into bankruptcy after Night Watch. His best known painting ever is also said to be a big failure, so big that he lost his fame because of it. Rembrandt never went into bankruptcy. He sold his big home and paintings few years before he died. Rembrandt was wealthy man, who never lost his fame. He gave up from painting and especially oil paintings after he lost his wife. He never married again. Wife's death is the only special thing which took place at the same times with Night Watch.

Rembrandt belongs to the big painters, everyone should know / be familiar with his name.

Jack hasn't recovered from his shower / ear accident as well as we wished. He said, that if his another ear is left completely or partially deaf, Boys will give up from music making. Although he could continue composing and arranging with one ear only, the risk is too high. Although the shower accident has nothing to do with music and music making, music making creates heavy load to ears. After music sessions, and the noise goes down, you are quite often almost completely deaf. After losing one ear you got be careful with the one you have left.

Hello.  No news are the best news, when you do not have anything nice to say.

Our desktop web feeder got a bigger primary disk today. During the maintenance and disk upgrade the coolest computer - in the world ? - showed some power too. Or Jack showed how fast the computer is. In hardware based copies ( needed when you change the disk ) old web feeder with p-Ata disks was 10% to 50% faster than new nominees with s-Ata disks. 

Said that the web feeder is not that special on paper, but it is fast and comfortable in practice. Best and his choice for - for example - modifying and drawing Remember Me cards to you.

Rosita and Friday girls have both been very popular in Remember Me. Haven't found a replacement for Rosita-set. So the animal will be common animal cards.  There are almost 1 000 000 pictures in  the base from which cards and pictures are selected. Possible that there are more Rosita like sets, but we haven't found them yet. We'll see.

The end of the vehicle cards have risen quite a lot of resistance. Some says, that the game is for girls only. But there is not much we can do, when primary beneficiaries starts to play bold in with the beloved co-ops. At the same time they donate billions to Midgets, Formula 1 + Cart + Etc. series. Sort of forbid the vehicle card set.

Had few talks about climate change. At the moment you could say, that there is something strange in the air. The air misses either vapor or carbon dioxide. This conclusion is based to the fact, that - during the spring 2014 - difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures has been bigger than before. Vapor in the air acts like oceans, vapor ( water as gas / steam ) balances temperatures between nights and days. On the planets, which misses water, the temperatures make sharp jumps up and down.

Giving up from the competition just like that or because of the some other reason, would sort of legalize thefts. USA, Eu and Eu countries have given their full, official, support for the thieves and the theft. At all possible cost, like the recent one trillion loss.

If you play the game with big boards and small cards, by default the game uses new bigger cards in all boards.
You can change the default behavior and source-card size with favorite strings.

- First you change Picture Mode [ source card size ] from Big to Auto or Standard.
- Then you click "Reload".
- After that you can save the game to your favorites.

Auto : Sets and selects the source card every time you turn card. The size of the used source card goes by card's screen size.
Standard : Always use old 96x96 pixel cards.

KNOWN BUG's WERE FIXED FROM REMEMBER ME

If you have got wrong cards to the game, there was a bug in randomizer. When you created custom boards, and you had the primary Forced option on and Forced option on also for the selected card set, the randomizer dealt unpaired cards to table.

Settings like this sample - with double Forced on - created fault boards

If you managed to get cards to table, the randomizer dealt unpaired cards to table.

10.00 GMT - The bug was fixed from the game.
For now on, double Forced setting brings you primary forced boards, with forced set boards both.
Also  with small board sizes. Just like it should.

This sample - with double Forced on - creates you board with latest added card and also with the latest fashion card.

When you look at the settings, the board gets only one card from the latest additions.
The share of the latest additions ( Primary forced ) was dropped to 50 %.

The another card - which is also forced - comes from the fashion set.

With this setting you always get the latest added card and also latest fashion card.

When the latest card is fashion card the second card is randomly selected. From random set.
In this case your demands for randomizer  - 1 latest card + 1 fashion card -  are fulfilled with one card.

11.20 GMT - The bug was fixed from the game.
Ducks and Penguin community in the beginning got the fixed forced option. 
For now on the randomizer will not skip over cards at the beginning of the card base.

All known bugs are fixed from the game now.

When we searched subject for today's wedding card, we planned to introduce African weddings. The wedding customs amongst different tribes varied too much. It goes so far, that in tribes it is common that one woman has many husbands, and in some tribes man has more than one wife.

After that, the search continued to American Indians. Almost all American Indians had a different tradition for dowries. Bride's family hardly ever paid or gave something to man or his family. In almost all old Indian tribes, the man had to pay or give something the wife's family or directly to wife.

Some native Americans had a Chinese like test time. The marriage was finalized after the couple had tested, what is it like to live together.  For a year or more. During the test time or at the end of the test time, both man and woman were allowed to give up from the marriage.

Yes. We were inquired about the digital restoration of the old paintings. When an old painting starts to lose colors, it fades to black or white. After the colors become invisible to human eyes, they are still in the picture.  It takes a very long time before the colors and details vanishes completely from the painting. 

In the partial restoration, you either lighten or darken the areas which are invisible to human eyes. Possibly add some contrast to the fading area too. 

Described digital restoration is not a very difficult thing to do. All you need is some practice and good drawing tools / programs.

Hello. 

The walls and ceiling of the Sistine Chapel hava many paintings. All the frescos in the ceiling are Michelangelo's paintings. 

Besides the ceilings, the walls of the chapel have also lots of paintings. These frescos - this time wall paintings - are from various artists. Most of them were painted before the ceiling. The eastern wall was painted after the ceiling.

The creation of Adam - the best known from the fresco's - has suffered a little. The painting in the game is slightly enhanced. The surroundings of the God and Adam have lost more from their colors, than other parts of the painting. Therefore the surroundings were artificially brightened and restored for the game. So that you can see the dark areas around the characters. You can no longer see the details from the painting and photos from it.

When the art is modified ( shrank ) to the game, the shorter side is nowadays adjusted to 192 pixels. And longer side is more than 192 pixels. This makes it possible for you to enlarge the on-screen picture to 512 pixels, without losing the looks.

The new 96 pixel graphics are modified, they are not exact copies from the original painting. Like the new bigger 192 pixel cards are.

Yes. Evelyn got an invitation to masquerade.  After thinking a while, she decided the character, she would be in the party. The global thermometer - the ice cap at north pole - is currently unstable. At the moment it is not possible to make any conclusions or predictions from it. Have to wait the summer months. During the winter, weather has been far from normal. Besides wind and snow storms, there has been rather many strong earthquakes - in the areas where quakes are rare.

Our Jack hurt his ear few days ago. Another ear leaked water inside, when he was in shower, washing it. As a result his another ear is currently almost completely deaf, according to our Jack, the recovery is estimated to last months - if ever. No signs from recovery yet.

We have sort of given up from the art collectors. We are introducing the best known painters, without free market requirement. 

Oil canvas paintings were born at around year 1400. Before the canvases, painted art was made on the walls and ceilings. And papyrus scrolls. Oil canvases were a big breakthrough in Western painting. 

Quite soon after the canvases, the Western painters started to get name to themselves. Italian Sofonisba Anguissola got famous almost right after the first male painters - like Leonardo da Vinci - got famous. Sofonisba Anguissola got name as good portrait painter, there is quite a lot of portraits she has painted - Enough for all bigger art museums.

Just like fame and women, nudity and sexuality ( adult businesses ) came to the painted art with oil paintings and canvases. Oil canvases sort of commercialized the western paintings.

Weather around north pole is taking quick ups and downs all the time. Interesting co-incidence in the warming is, that the weather took a big step towards warmer weather in around 2002. At the same time US led alliance attacked Iraq. Despite the huge resistance : Record wide and record big demonstrations.

Before the war few very bright people, who wanted the war, said, that the war and the damages you make will actually boost world economies. Few months ago the representatives of the ideology introduced a bright idea, according to witch, there is nothing to worry in the warming. It brings more energy to earth, and it is a great benefit to the earth. 

So far the energy  has been wasted in huge hurricanes and other big disasters. And the worldwide farming and food production has suffered from the change. If the new early ups and downs are here to stay, they worsen the farming conditions, once again.

DLNA Servers were the name of the system in the evening. DLNA server is small computer program, which makes the multimedia files on computer's hard available for the A/V apparels. Like a tv with a network connector. DLNA services are embedded into Windows Media Player 11 and later. The latest apparels do not need it anymore. All they need is a FAT-32 formatted hard disk, and possibly a network wire, with what you connect the apparel to the router or directly to computer. 

If you have a WiFi router and apparel, the wire is not necessarily needed. If you plan to watch videos from your computer, wirings to all possible apparels is recommended. DVD / BD quality videos need over 6 M bit/s continuous data transfers.

Most of the apparels, which supports network and  DLNA systems, misses good user interfaces. There is usually only a file list, from which you select the files for the play.

Hello. Blog scroller for Our great competition "All 500 million eyes on us" got better controls. The scroller has two modes. Besides the old random slide show, you can stop the show and scroll the contestants sequentially. Control s are no longer in flags, they have a control panel of their own. With yellow R / red S you switch modes. With green arrow you scroll the names downwards, from the current name. With red bulb you check the latest global contestant. 

The scroller has also free slots for volunteers - so far none. And also for nominated contestants. Each time our Jack checks his private bank accounts, two new slots for volunteers are opened to the competition. One for both banks. When we have a another reason - like Jack's public arrest - number of opened slots can be more than one.

Competition has proven to work very well, the number of survivors is near zero. And it looks like that in long run it will be exactly zero. Always takes some time before you collapse ... and start to like Sylvester and Bugs predicts. We do not know much about things, which takes place, after you are nominated, but we do know, that eventually you will fall. One way or another.

We all hope that the completion ends soon.

And just like we have told earlier, the competition is legal. The power of the competition is based on our huge popularity, and the pressures vast publicity creates towards our contestants. The terms for getting into competition are as tight as before.

Hello. Nothing new for the site.

In the past bassist used to be the fourth band member. Third when someone played and sung at the same time. Nowadays you can play bass tracks with keyboard / synths. In the past keyboard players were secondary band members. They were taken to band after the key players were gathered .. or then not.

This time we have lost Boys only in the game. Current real life quietness is intentional. There is lots of unreleased material, and after Jack got his decided to keep a longer break. In music making and releases, both. Sometimes search new sounds, for the future releases.

If you are not familiar with garmets-  no-one can blame you - there was a writing error in today's card texts. Correct word would've been garters. If you are not familiar with a thing / cloth called garter - regardless of the way the word is written - garter is a thing which is used with long stockings. They are substitutes for more common suspenders. Both are used for keeping stockings up. Garters are much like belts, and with suspenders you have a belt like ribbon at your waist.

You remember those talks about the poor quality of the Space Covers and Ghost Opera. When Jack upgraded audio systems, he noticed that during some parties, we had blown all tweeters from all old speaker boxes. A good explanation for the sun ... sounds.

In modern bass-reflex speakers the old rule, where bass elements blows first, always is no longer true. In most modern speakers loud - too loud - play breaks the tweeters first, and after that you lose bass elements.

Could say from the ice hockey, that it's popularity as hobby is dependent on the possibilities. All those five countries have lakes and cold winters. During winter time there is lots of natural ice. Creating an area for playing ice hockey or figure skating over the natural ice is simple and cheap thing to. All you have to do is to clear and keep the area clean from snow.

In USA and Russia is ice hockey and skating are popular in the areas where you have natural ice. As whole it is not that popular.

When we ordered the old cards for the updates, the flowers and plants were assigned to Sundays, there aren't that many old sight cards.

Mona Lisa was sold once, in the mid 1500's. The price was 4 000 ecu's. Ecu is an ancient French money. During the time of selling, ecu was a gold coin, worth 36.75 francs, in francs the painting cost 147 000 francs. In unadjusted Euros the price is 22 400 euros. Ecu was the biggest coin in French monetary system. In modern Europe biggest bank note is 500 euro note. When we replace Ecu with 500 Euro bank note, we get a rough estimation from Mona Lisa's inflation adjusted price, it was app $14.5 millions or €11.2 millions.  This is only the price, which was paid from the painting long time ago. Nowadays painting's value is far more bigger, than it was, when it was sold.

Most of the pipe organs are in Christian churches. But the biggest are in elsewhere. There are also synthesizers, which have more than one - usually two - keyboard. Smaller and newer Christian churches have nowadays synthesizers or electric organs. In the past when there wasn't PA systems, big churches needed big organs, so that everyone can hear the music.

When talking about powers, the biggest organs takes / has almost 10 time more power, than system's which are used in concerts. The modern systems have usually less than 100 kW output powers. And the biggest organs has over 400 kW. You need a big turbocharged diesel from 16 wheel-truck, before you can get the biggest organs going.

Remember Me got an update, the randomizer was tuned. Randomizer - which selects cards to your board - is slightly faster than before. The new cards for the game starts to get the old 96 pixel graphics, too. The cards without 96 pixel graphics will get the old graphs too. Not yet known when, but they will.

When you play with boards, which have many cards, the load times with the new 192 pixel graphics are quite long, files of the 192 pixel cards are 4 times bigger than the old 96 pixel cards. In practice it means, that the caching and loading takes 4 times more time, than with the 96 pixel cards.

Vultures and hyenas are scavengers, they eat corpses [ bodies of dead animals ]. Even the most rotten corpses. Their inner organs can handle things, which are poison to many other animal. In hotter areas, where everything gets rotten quickly, scavengers are very important to the ecology. They keep the environment clean from bacteria and other lethal micro-organisms.

Wednesdays are currently for the roller coasters. This time for the space coaster. Wonder what kind of a visitors there are, in Space City's Theme Park.

We have already learnt how rare inventions are, and how much intercontinental co-operation has brought to the nations and continents. All continents and nations have invented something important, which never occurred to the minds of the others.

Shift 429 gives the rhythm for day. Wonder what it is ... something to do with war and warfare. In war this instrument is used for ... hmh ... for giving the rhythm and raising the spirits ... In the old days Africans and American Indians used this instrument for communication, too.

The maximum card size was increased, so that now the game covers the full screen with Line-board and i1080 screen resolution. Maximum on screen card size is now 512 pixels. There are also two new predefined card sizes, Wide-S and Wide-M. Size indicators S&M were taken from clothes.

With custom card size setting it has been and it is possible to exceed the limit - Jack had forgotten this feature in his earlier comments. He said that, if there ever will be bigger than the 192 x 192 pixel graphics, we will hire someone, who updates the old - almost 1 000 - cards to the new size. He has still 22 weeks / 4.5 months left with the old 96 pixel card updates.

US Media Giants and Movie Companies have a habit of attacking and tried to destroy the careers and the openings of the celebrities, who are not involved with their businesses. They harass them with paparazzis, and then they write all kinds of dirt and non-sense about them. Young and younger female artists are the easiest targets for such attacks.

Since people are not that interested in their stories, quite often it happens, that the primary target of stories are the celebrity her/himself. Try force them to make those stupid gossips / stories true.

Yes. During month change, this main page for the blog will get a new physical file name. So that you do not have to read these disposals from the main page - like it happened today, once again.

The blog was transferred to new month. The physical file name of this main page was changed. If you have added the blog to your favorites, you must create a new link / entry to your favorites. After creating the new link, the entry works just like before.

We are using page / file based archives. If you have a special need for some chapter, you find it from the archives. In common use, you do not have wait until everything is searched and loaded to your computer.  Like you have to do in Facebook, Twitter, etc.

The old physical name "index.html" was changed to "xb000.htm" All archived pages have similar names, they are xbXXX.htm, where XXX is sequence number. May 2012 is the page, you find with the name "xb001.htm".

We haven't give up model cards. Wedding Card set is currently the smallest set in the game. When model card set is one of the biggest, Tuesdays are mostly for Wedding cards, until there are over 20 cards in the set.

Hi. No more card updates for today.

After the subject was selected, thought quite a lot bachelor and bachelorette parties. Originally both parties were dinners, and  more like preparations for the marital life, than the farewell to the single life.

When we thought about the parties, we came to the conclusion that they cannot be much different from your common evening in the restaurant. Otherwise quite a many weddings would be cancelled right after the parties and before the weddings. So if the parties are wild - like they sometimes are - common evenings in the restaurants should be rather wild too. If the parties are very different from the common evening, there is a danger that your marriage begins with serious troubles.

Due to this, there aren't any formulas and rules for the parties. The phone call from the more or less jealous and curious spouse is the one, which  is likely to happen at least once during the parties : Not very rare, that guests are having lots of fun, and the guest of honor sits quietly in the corner seat.
