Sorry bout the quality of the Remember Me graphics. This almost new mobile feeder is a bit too slow for drawing ... with drawing tools from the year 1999 ... it shows also in the graphics. This one needs a CPU upgrade. Another one is faster, but not in Budapest. 

Remember Me's game engine was benchmarked last week. If the game loads and operates slowly, the reason is in somewhere else than in game. It operates quickly also with the most complicated boards.

No news for the site. "All 500 million eyes on us" competition continues. Before you can get the competition as contestant, you got be somehow connected to the delay in our Jack's move. No need to ask where are you from. As long as the competition is "on-line" you can get to it .. as contestant.

The competition ends after Finns and Swedes releases our Jack's bank accounts for his personal use. And our Jack, on the other hand, is only one flight and few days away from the headquarters of our big sponsors ...

Ever heard about the national  cigarette monopoly and carefully camouflaged national cigarette shops. If you haven't, you haven't visited Hungary recently. You can buy booze from the common shops and kiosks, almost all day long, but when it comes to cigars and cigarettes you are in deep troubles ... just our like our Jack. 

Good markets for drug dealers in Hungary. Buying cigarettes is more difficult than buying pot from the street.

Our Jack who is currently having a lonesome holiday in Budapest has combined business wit pleasure. He is also checking the country and the city for the Boys. He has already checked and shot the 15 million euro Music Pavilion we talked here almost year ago.

Looks like that he is not willing to ask our sponsors to buy that pavilion and found a base for us in Budapest, Hungary. Not sure yet, but that's the way he has been talking lately.

The value of the Boys' base is calculated in billions ( Euros ). In friendly country the billions are profits and in hostile area the billions are losses.  But the value is always calculated in billions.

Good Morning. Zero hour opening for today. 

Ever heard about the plane, which can spread it's wings like an eagle. In today's card is one. It is also the first fighter ever, which can do miracles. 

As a whole in the late 60's three designs and in the late 70's one design got into construction and use. Besides the mentioned fighter designs, two strategic bombers have been built and used with "I can spread my wings"-feature.

Our Jack grabbed his vinyl record collection from the barn, into which it was thrown few years ago. Currently drying the carton covers from over 300 vinyl records. 

The old Deadlock icon, the striking clock, is also repaired. Clock's 23rd hour strikes were a sign for going to the evening walks. Still few things missing from the treasure hunt. In the late 90's the evening walks were much like the religious marches in Northern Ireland. People from the other side hated and resisted them ... a lot.

Just checked the handheld GPS device. It is much like maps for tourists, with local places of greater interest. Bus stops, sights, restaurants, bars, etc.

After you store your hotel's address in to the predefined targets, you always find your way back. ( as long as GPS signal is available )  With few taps to apparel's screen. The gadget shows you the route back and the way you are going, with an arrow. And the navigation is guaranteed to stay private.

The one our Jack bought had Windows CE operating system, SD card reader and USB connector. The gadget is compatible with common laptops and desktops. It had also cellular phone like car kit. With the kit you can attach the gadget to dashboard.

Hello. No news from here. 

Besides music Remember Me has created a connection to the video / games. One computer, which was in construction, burned here yesterday. With flames and thick smoke cloud. After the fire was extinguished and the smoke cloud had vanished, it turned out that the reason for the fire was in a brand new 600 W power source.

When you buy new computers and new power sources to a computer ( with over 300 W output powers ) always make sure, that they have rather thick copper wires in the outputs. 

The 600 W power source which burned here had very thin iron wire ( with multiple threads ) which led to the diskette plug. The fire started from this thin wire. The internal resistance of the iron wire is rather high. When you have a big power source, all output wires have to handle the same 600 W or even bigger output power. 

When you lead too much power into a thin iron wire, the internal resistance raises to sky high levels. Due to this the wire heats up a lot. And in the worst possible case ( like in here ), the temperatures raises so much, that the smoking hot iron wire sets plastic covers into fire. Usually overloaded wire only melts plastic covers, and cause a shortcut, which kills the power source plus all attached cards and apparels.

The recommended copper wires have far more better electric conductance and lower internal resistances.

The card readers and small SD micro cards have proven to be rather good solution. Sony's car audio system and tough conditions have broken three card readers in less than one month. The cards are still unharmed, and fully functional. When a USB memory stick goes broke, you always lose the data too.

When you build a server for audio system, and use hard disks of your own, you usually have to have disks, which are formatted to FAT-32 file system. It is the same system memory cards and sticks uses. If you use NTFS disks and disk drives, you cannot see and hear a thing from these drives in your audio apparel. 

You can create big, over 32GB,  FAT-32 partitions with separate formatting tools and with Windows ME, Windows 98SE, Windows 98 and Windows 95 OSR-2 operating systems. The maximum disk and drive size in FAT-32 is 2 000 GB. As long as your disks and drives are smaller than 2 TB, your FAT-32 disks work fine with all operating systems, which supports FAT-32.

When you have a memory card or stick which is bigger than 32 GB Windows Me is almost the only thing, with what you can safely format and re-format these cards.  Windows Me has a built in support for USB Mass Storage devices. 

You can install Windows Me to almost all computers. You have to have two drives on your computer. You can install only one OS / drive. Usually it is a good idea to keep the Me drive smaller than 128 GB. Although your hardware misses the drivers for Windows Me, Me has simple, general use, drivers for display, hard disks, CD discs, DVD discs, keyboard and mouse. They work with almost all computers. Slowly and clumsily, but they usually work. And you can format the big Fat 32 cards. You can create big partitions with Nt based Windows OS's. But you cannot format big FAT-32 drives with them.

Some sources say that there are three big cities in Africa ( without giving the names ), could say that these two cities and metropolitans are almost twice as big as the third biggest African city, which is Kinshasa in Congo.

The UK Top 10 came earlier in the evening. British Ellie Goulding's Burn was in the number top. Song was released already a month ago. Decided to conquer UK charts this week. Lady Gaga managed to get Applause into Top 10, Katy Perry's Roar was not yet in the charts.

One of the handiest thing in the surveillance system are GPS based map-systems. GPS signals are transmitted like radio waves. When you for example have holiday abroad, and get lost in a strange city, you find yourself and your location very quickly with a small GPS gadget. The small handheld GPS map-locators ( with maps and everything you need ) are rather cheap. They cost app 50 euros. A traditional map from the strange city is not free either. 

The most difficult this with the tourist GPS apparels is the availability. Very difficult to find such a gadget. Most of the GPS systems are made for professionals or to cars. 

The expensive cellular phones have also GPS locators and maps. The bad thing in the phone based GPS systems is that, the every request for your location is transferred to a server which "finds out" your exact location on the map. You got to make connection, and when you are abroad, the cost of use can be surprisingly high. And when you make the connection to a web / phone operator, your requests and locations can be tracked and recorded.

The way brand new Windows 8 Professional cyber attacked ( or provided means for the attack ) our 2nd mobile web-feeder was not taken to notice in the recovery pack. One low level utility was missing from the previous stimulus pack.

The elder computers are well protected against cyber attacks. Traditional BIOS and Boot record guards made the worst possible scenarios impossible. Nowadays you cannot find a new computer which would have such guards.

If you ever fly to Budapest, you get familiar with the man, who composed Bugs Bunny's theme song. The Budapest's airport is named after Franz Liszt, Ferenc Liszt is the original, Hungarian name of the composer. If you do not remember, Bugs Bunny theme is Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody 2. Today was a day for the maintenance of the old desktop computers. They got new faster and better CPU's. Jack 3 and it's copy was upgraded to P4 2.6 GHz and Jack 4 [ Web Feeder ] to P4 - 2.8 GHz. 

Jack 2, which has sold few million copies worldwide, was hit by a lightning few years ago, all broken parts were replaced, and the old P3 - 600 MHz was upgraded to P4 - 3.0 GHz.

Faster CPUs were purchased for giving the old desktops enough speed for Blue Ray burning. The BD project failed completely, but old desktops are faster now.

A bit late today. That Windows 8 seems to be very dangerous operating system. If there isn't a danger in Windows 8 itself, it is very vulnerable to cyber attacks. Almost everything was ruined from the computer, where Windows 8 was tested yesterday. Including BIOS and hard disks. Therefore the day begins a bit late today. The recovery from the worst possible takes some time.

Okay that Windows 8 Professional for UK/US markets. But we continue with Royals. According to today's car, there are many royals North America. Wonder what they are like.

Hello. 

Another mobile web feeder came with a pre-installed Windows 8 Pro operating system. Before the removal Windows 8 was used and tested here. The test ended rather sadly ... as usual. With Windows 8 you are free trash and cyber attack your computer by yourself. The test ended and Windows 8 was removed from the feeder after it turned out, that it had lost over 1 000 files and over 8 GB of disk space was trashed. 

Windows 8 either refused to write files onto hard disks, or then it wrote the files over the existing files. Everything looked fine until you took the power off, and restarted the computer. This all happened in common, everyday use. With a standard Windows 8 pro installation.  After the losses the computer was checked from hardware errors. Nothing was found, and the older Windows OS worked fine in the same computer.

Powerful UTOR typhoon is heading to Philippines, and from there it is said to pay a visit to Hong Kong. During landfalls winds blow almost 250 km/h. 

In the western scale it is very near Category 5 Hurricane. In Category 5 winds blow over 250 km/h. UTOR must be very careful with cops. It breaks the speed limits, and if it drives to radar with that speed, there is a danger that cops write a ticket to it.

Due to a fatal accident during a standard printer maintenance alias cartridge change, mobile web-feeder got a brand new printer today. Canon iP100 weights only 2 kg or 4 pounds. It is 5 cm high, takes less space on the table than A4 paper. Although it is capable of printing A4, photos, etc. Runs also in Windows 2000. It is the only available new portable / small printer which runs with Windows 2000. [ tested and used already ]

If you do not remember all our invisible, music making computers runs with Windows 2000. Boys music making software refused to work with newer operating systems.

Hello.

Made checkout for the Blue Midgets. Decided to wait the proper SD players. Hardware and software for watching DVD quality shit, without zooming capabilities, didn't get votes and recommendations from here. Got bored with those, you got buy and install this, this, this and this - Greedy shit is trying to make money from nothing. 

Hardware and software in the Blue Ray players is almost the same as in the old DVD players.

When you want to use VLC open source player with older Windows OS, for the Blue Ray play you need a a driver from the manufacturer of your Blue Ray drive. The required driver can be found from some older Blue Ray drives. Not very common in new BD drives. 

The situation is much like it was with Blue Ray players' analog RCA connectors. The required drivers and support to the old OS belongs to the things money can't buy. Talking about BD thing as money making businesses, the more expensive your drive / player is the more features you get with it. It is the way businesses usually go.

+ + DVD vs BD + +

The Blue Ray was developed after Super Audio CD disks failed. There was a big technical problem with Super Audio CD formatted files.

The primary problem of the DVD disk is in it's capability to store data. DVD can store 4.5 GB of data. With a standard DVD movie quality ( 6000 mbit/s ) you can store only 1 hour movie onto one DVD disk.

The storage related problem of the DVD disk was resolved at the same time with Blue Ray disks. 

The DVD disk got a second layer. The second layer is on the same side than the primary track, it is burned and located under the primary track. Just like the stereo and surround sound in the old VHS tapes. The double layer DVD resolved the space problem of the DVD disks. Almost all movies lasts less than two hours. And if it lasts longer, you do not have to use tight packing / poor quality in the packed video file.

SD cards which are gaining popularity do not have space limitations any more. Biggest available fully functional cards are already 64 GB, bigger than the biggest Blue Ray disks. 

Another good thing in SD cards is in the FAT-32 file system.  FAT-32 is a universal flexible hard disk standard. It supports 4 GB single files and 2 TB physical drives. On most DVD disks the video footage is divided into app 1 GB physical files / slices. 

In Windows, Microsoft uses 32-bit signed integers with files, it reduces the maximum file sizes into 2.1 GB. Windows FAT-32 drives works poorly with over 2.1 GB files. The programs with what MS handles the NTFS drives are the same, and they have same difficulties with big, over 2.1 GB, files.

These problems have noting do with the bandwidth of the operating system. Within the same OS-version, the problems are the same with 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems, both.

In Windows 2000, XP and later systems there is formatting limitation for the FAT-32 disks. SD Cards are usually formatted as single volumes, and NT based operating systems refuses to format FAT-32 partitions which are bigger than 32 GB.

Windows Me is the only Windows operating system with what you can format memory cards / sticks with over 32 GB partitions. If you format your SD-cards into NTFS system, you cannot use the card in Car Audio systems, Blue Ray players, cameras, etc. The external devices usually expect that that there is only one big volume on the card.

When the sd-card fails, quite often the destruction is complete : You have to re-build and re-format the card back into FAT-32 file system, before you can use it after the failure.

The new mobile web feeder has taken most of the Jack's time recently. The new mobile feeder passed the crash tests today, so the hurries with computer maintenance are slowly going away. Do not know what comes after that ... yet.

Primary reason for creating the mobile web-feeder are daily card updates for Remember Me. We have no intention to give up from the updates after the "All 500 million eyes on us" competition is over.

Opened the new blue ray era during the evening. Watched  the Amazing Spider-Man movie from the blue ray disc. Movie is one year old, successful big budget  movie. 

Nothing wrong with movie, but computers' brand new blue ray drives refused to recognize the disc. Managed to watch the movie with Blue Ray player, which was introduced here yesterday.

Blue Ray - USB system chapter got some updates during the day. In the future it will be added to the Chain of Sound pages.

The mighty touch of a midget is very visible in the Blue Ray players, which are currently available for  you. Not very easy to find a player with a proper interface for sounds.

The blue ray discs has the same disadvantage than the DVD discs. When you buy movies from the web, you must check the regional codes. You cannot play  the blue ray discs across the continents. If your player is coded for European or Asian markets, you cannot buy and play US discs in it. Audio CD's do not have region codes and continental limitations.

Hi. Being optimistic means that you are optimistic. Besides mobile web-feeder our main computer system is getting new parts and features. 

Blue Ray support is one of the new features in the system The BD system has also a wide screen display - player system. In the shop from where BD player was bought Philips BDP 3490/12 was the only suitable player ... It fulfills current file format and picture size demands. From these it was the only available player, which had analog RCA jacks in the back.

In the picture the black Blue Ray player is in tests and in the middle.
In this system Sophie's picture goes directly from the player
to the computer system's 24'' wide screen display and it's HDMI connector.
In the system Sophie's voice is led to amplifier's DVD rca-jacks.

The primary 4/3 display is 19''. From the picture you can see, that in height 24'' wide screen equals to old 19'' display / tv screen. 

The wide screen display has 2 HDMI inputs and 1 VGA input. They are separate, and you can connect three devices to the display : Digital tv-box, satellite receiver, another computer, another Blue Ray player, etc. The wide screen display is thin, when the base is turned into vertical position the whole display system is less than 5 cm thick.

Boys primary music making and mixer computer, Jack 3, is in the right. Right beside it there is the 20 euro Web-Feeder computer. In the left, under the coffee cup and ashtray there is the file server and spare for the music making computer. In the computer system wide screen display is currently used as display for the file server.

The display was chosen to the system by the response time. The one in the picture refreshes the screen in 2 ms. It is over 2 times faster than usual. The response times of the led displays are usually 5 ms. Short response time is needed when you play 3D games. In general short response time reduces the flickering, when you for example scroll the screen.

All BD players have black digital output RCA-jack for audio. 
The players which have also the analog voice out RCA jacks ( white and red )
are very rare . The yellow composite video out is also very rare in BD players.

In this player you cannot attach USB speakers to the USB connector in the back.
It takes input from memory cards. The player does not have internal Bluetooth line-out device either.

It is not possible to connect this player to the bluetooth and USB speaker systems. These systems are common in computers. 

In USB and Bluetooth based speaker systems it is possible to take line input from more than one source - Some USB / bluetooth speaker systems supports this feature.

+ + RCA connectors + +

With the white-red audio out jacks you usually connect your player to your audio system. Digital inputs are rather rare also in computers, and you quite often connect the player to your computer's sound card with the analog RCA jacks. And an adapter, which converts analog RCA wires to analog 3.5 mm jack.

With all three analog RCA jacks you can attach the player to SCART connector. Besides old tv's, VHS players, old RW recorders, and old analog video capture cards takes composite video as input. 

You can never get analog audio signals from HDMI out connector.
 The signal you get from there is digital. The same you get from the Black RCA jack.

If your Home Theater / computer does not have digital audio inputs, and you buy yourself a Blue Ray player which do no have analog RCA outputs, you have to buy an expensive D/A adapter, which converts digital signals to analog. Separate converters cost over 300 euros.

When talking about Blue Ray and DVD players, to the manufacturers and High-End hobbyists D/A converters and the laser heads are the things of great interest.

There are two big cities in the world. With a rather big cap to the others. Another one is Karachi, and another one is in today's card. Any ideas about the competitor ?

Could say, that the knowledge about the biggest cities in the world is very important for the global businesses. The most populous cities have lots of potential customers.

When a musician for example makes her / his plans for touring, the biggest fan groups are always in the biggest cities. When you tour the biggest cities of the world, more fans will have a chance to see and hear about you ... in person.

If you haven't checked the audio apparel shelves recently, all new Blue Ray / DVD / CD players have USB connectors in the front panel. The prices of the BD players have also fallen to the DVD player levels.

When you buy new one, always make sure, that the USB connector plays also Wav-files. Wave files are the best quality audio files, one-to-one copies from the recording. On CD discs music is always always in wave format. With a USB connector, which supports Wav-format, you can play even better quality wave-files than the standard CD format wave files are. 

The sizes of the standard memory cards and sticks are nowadays so big and they are so fast and cheap, that the size is not a limitation anymore.

In our own system we use small card readers, and small micro-SD cards in them. The memory cards have open metallic surfaces for making the electrical contact to the reader. A small reader, with a cap,  keeps the actual card safe and fully functional. Found the card-reader system handier than the memory sticks. You can use the same cards in your cameras, video cameras, etc.

In commercial distribution card is merely a media for the distribution, without any electrical parts / functionality. If the USB connectors are abandoned or changed some day, the cards are still fully functional. All you have to do is to buy new readers for your SD-card collection.

Always make back-ups from your digital purchases. Faults with the memory sticks / card reader systems are common. You are almost certain face a day, when you have lost all data from the card. With out back-ups all files on the "self made" card are lost forever.

During the construction of Mobile Web Feeder, the secondary OS, with what the site is sometimes tested was changed from Windows 98SE to Windows Millennium Edition. Windows Me is the operating system, with what you can safely use net, card readers, USB disks and others with an old, slow computer. Windows Me has built in support for USB storage system. 

The site remains fully functional with Windows 98SE ( with required Media Player update for playing music, and required Graphic update for browsing web with Opera 10 ), but it is no longer tested with Windows 98SE. With Windows Me the mentioned updates are not needed.

The primary operating system for the site keeping is Windows XP Professional [ full version ] with Service Pack 2 and MS Internet Explorer 8.

If you want to play Blue Ray discs with an older computer, you need a software update for playing the discs. PowerDVD 7 is said to be a program, which plays Blue Ray discs with Windows 9x and Windows 2000 operating systems.

Then there is VLC 2.0 free open source program. It works with all operating systems, including the most common tablet operating systems : Windows 9x, XP, Linux, Solaris, Anroid, MAC, etc, you find the player from www.videolan.org 

Hardware demands for Blue Ray drives are not that big. Pentium P4, with little over 2 GHz speed is enough for the drive itself. 3D graphic card is also needed for Blue Ray playback.

We have been talking about the car, Jack will choose. 

Eventually he decided to buy a 10 year old Citroen C5 Station Wagon to himself. The color is dark metallic gray. 

According to our Jack Citroen C5 is the most comfortable highway car in the world. European car people calls the car with a nickname Big Cat, because it goes so smoothly. Much like a cat.

Hydraulic suspension makes it superior to the others. The top is reached after the suspension is enhanced with automatic gearbox, cruise control and automatic climate control ... and good quality car audio system, of course.

Car audio system he bought to his C5, is common, cheap CD-USB player, made by Sony. Sony had the best sound adjustment  systems from the available app 100 euro players. When the sound is compared to the original, embedded player, the difference is big.
