- - Album Introduction - - Nursery Rhymes II was made as part of the Audio CD remix project. Rhymes were not grouped together in Space Covers, and we had few requests, if we could pack them together. So we decided to gather the requested pack from Audio CD remix songs. When we made this page, we decided to use word Theme Park from the parks, which have rides, and Amusement Park as general name for the parks where you get amused. There aren't any rules for the usage of these two words.
Addams Family - Theme [Audio CD mix] Addams Family theme was one of the most popular songs from Space Covers. The song is a standard Game Hall piano play mix for audio systems. The song got Ghost tracks. Drums and Box. Added also additional Piano track for playing the melody. Mixed the melody so, that Piano is the leading instrument in the play.
Bugs Bunny - Theme [Audio CD mix] Bugs Bunny was another very popular song from Space Covers. This was the first song we made. The song, which is used as Bugs Bunny theme is actually Hungarian Rhapsody 2 from Mr. Liszt. Much like the Hungarian Ghost songs, which were released a month earlier. Bugs Bunny was also made in the same way as Hungarian Ghost EP. Original tracks are almost unchanged. The song got a brand new drumming with Drums and Ghost Drums. Could also say, that Mr. Liszt was Hungarian pianist. He made rhapsodies from his homeland. Unlike Mr. Brahms, who was German. And who made his career in Vienna, Austria.
Tom and Jerry - Theme [Dance Mix,
version E] Tom and Jerry used to be an okay-song from Space Covers. It was a bit long and boring. On January 28th we released D-version from the song. The D-version from the song has two sequences, into which Jack had placed detuned / distorting sounds on purpose. After the release hardly anyone liked the detuned sounds in the song. When this thing was brought to our knowledge, we promised to make a new E-version from the song. E-version was released on February 7th 2013. It was a bit exiting release, our listeners had already used to the detuned sound, and we didn't know how you would take, the new smooth version from the song. After the release none of you missed the old detuned version. The song is traditional dance from United States, the rhythm has been played in many Westerns. Westerns are movies from Wild West. Outlaws, pilgrims, indians, etc. Unfinished C-version from the song is a common Audio CD mix. It has a common drumming playing in the back. Since the song is long and bit boring, the drumming sequences were rather complicated. When we thought and talked about C-version, dancing came to the talks. Eventually we started think, that "Okay, it is a dance song. So we make a dance mix from it ... possible that the play will be a bit boring ... but in dancing the bodily moves and your own activities are the main things ... if the song is too attractive, it takes your attention from dancing." So, we ripped many things away from the C-version and started to work with simpler Dance mix. The final E version had so many new things, that it is once again "song". This song is a Dance Mix, not a DWTS mix. Both mix types have rhythmic sections for improvised steps and moves. In this dance-mix drums are giving you the base rhythm all the time. You can ignore and dance the sections for improvising with common steps. In What's my name [dwts mix] the base rhythm was cut, and you had to improvise during the special sections. The Space Covers version from Tom and Jerry was not very popular right after the release, but by the time it found it's audiences and gained lots of popularity. The same thing happened with the dance-mix. During the Dance Mix release time, our songs usually gained popularity within a day or even less. For Tom and Jerry it took almost a week, before it rose to the popular songs.
Chattanooga Chooh Chooh [Ghost Train mix]
featuring Mr. Elephant Chattanooga was the least liked new Rhyme in Space Covers. In the beginning we didn't pay much attention to the song. Trains were rolling in almost original play for a long time. One day, when we worked with a song, someone said, that "We already have trains in the song, why don't we make a Ghost Train from the play." No one said word against it. Sounded a good idea. We started work with a song and Ghost Train mix for real. Started the Ghost Train by adding second and latter train section to the song. Mr. Elephant was signed to the song soon after this. The second train section seemed to need something new. Didn't take long after we remembered old Tarzan movies and Mr. Elephant's pa, who made voice acting for Tarzan, or Johnny Weismuller. Besides, we had already tested song making with Mr. Elephant and Mr. Monkey. It probably helped us a little with the discovery of the new talent. So Mr. Elephant was signed to the song as lead vocalist. Mr. Elephant is also the first vocalist for Boys. Few days before the release, played almost ready made song for small test audiences. They loved Mr. Elephant's singing. Before conversion to the Ghost Train, the song already had the grand closing. After Mr. Elephant came to production, the song got also new, longer Grand Opening. The one you hear in the song. Opening and Closing are made from the background sounds of the song. After Grand Opening, the song went to durability tests. During this period, we made the variations from the base verse. And finalized the integration between different parts of the song. The test audiences rated Ghost Train as the best song from Nursery Rhymes 2. The only complaints were, that the song ends too quickly. Much like it often happens, when you take a joy ride in theme park.
There is still more Audio-CD mixes to come from the Space Covers.
- - Few words about the releases - - We released the songs one-by-one as usual. The releases were rather calm. The Chattanooga / Ghost Train and Tom + Jerry were the "traditional" releases, from the Boys. After Ghost Train we got few reports from the throw outs and strange, stimulated activities. Tom and Jerry, on the other hand, was reported to cause some uncontrolled bodily actions.
